Remember Marvin, my bus driver? He is the one who never knew his dad. When last we spoke about him, I told you to stay tuned, because I was going to use a cell phone lookup to try and find his father. Remember?

Well, we found him! That is, I found him, or rather a cell phone lookup found him. Marvin didn't even know his father's full name and date of birth, so he had to ask the grandparents who raised him for information. They could only guess where he could possibly be today; all they knew is back when Marvin's father was young, he lived in Louisiana.

We just typed in his first and last name into the online cell phone directory and tried to find him in Louisiana. Bingo! We found him right away. He no longer lived in Louisiana, but the right age and a prior Louisiana address helped us zero in on the right man. He now lives in a small town in Illinois and appears to have other grown children.

Yes, we found all this information via a cell phone lookup, and now we had his cell phone number, and I insisted Marvin call him right there and then. It was awesome! How did people ever connect before these wonders of technology brought them together?! I am going to tell you a secret: when Marvin called his long-lost father, they both cried.
